• Only 4 Sundays to go before Christmas – bring your bestie, family and friends to the St Kilda Esplanade Market!

    The countdown to Christmas has begun for many families, only 4 Sundays left, not counting this Sunday. December seems to have crept up on us and is now on our door step. I know I will be heading down to the St Kilda Esplanade Market to buy my Christmas goodies. So come down to St Kilda and join me in some festive shopping. We are open every Sunday of the year from 10am to 5pm. We’re sure you’ll find that perfect gift for that special someone.

    This weekend you can expect to find beautifully handcrafted gold and silver jewellery some with Australian pearls other with Australian opals, fantastic paintings, sculptures and even face painting. Also debuting this weekend is Moonbeam Kitchen selling yummy cakes, tarts and biscuits. You will find them at stall # 152.
    We have some exciting news from a few of our permanent traders:

    • The lovely and talented Tony Fitton, at stall # 27 hand makes ancient Celtic style gold & silver jewellery, he and his wife live in St Andrews part of Nillumbik Council. They are part of the Council’s Artists Open Studios and his studio will be open to the public this weekend. For more information go to www.artistsopenstudios.com.au
    • Jeff Wilmott at stall # 67 is a potter, making ocarinas (small clay flutes) and vases. He is also a musician and music teacher.     • Last but not least is Chris Farrell from Fazshot stall # 126. We introduced Chris in our blog on the 1 Nov. He is now involved in an auctioned off to raise money for the Typhoon Haiyan fund raiser at "The Bend Cafe" in Glenaire. His donated image is an aerial of the Aire River mouth.
